Schools & Libraries
Greg Phillips’ school and library programs combine the wonder of illusion with the power of imagination to spark curiosity, character, and a lifelong love of learning. His shows are packed with laughter, color, and audience participation—perfect for assemblies, reading celebrations, and special events.
At the heart of the school programs are Greg’s award-winning “Not a Target” Bully Prevention Assembly, a proven favorite among schools nationwide. This dynamic program uses visual magic, storytelling, and humor to teach empathy, self-worth, and courage. Students walk away understanding that everyone deserves respect and that they can be leaders in creating a culture of kindness.
Greg also presents a lineup of themed educational shows that bring learning to life, including:
- The Magic of Math — connecting problem-solving and wonder in surprising ways
- The Magic of Science— exploring curiosity, discovery and combining magic and experiments for surprise endings!
- The Magic of Reading- brings stories to life through amazing illusions and audience participation, showing kids that every book holds a world of wonder waiting to be discovered.
- 🎩 Dr. Seuss and the Magic of Reading — promoting literacy, creativity, and imagination.
Using the Collaborative Summer Library Program, (CLSP) the nationwide initiative that provides libraries a shared Summer Reading Theme, Greg creates a new theme for each Summer Program.
More than entertainment, Greg’s programs are designed to inspire young minds. Each routine encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity—skills that support academic growth and lifelong learning. By tying magical moments to themes like literacy, respect, teamwork, and kindness, Greg helps educators and librarians reinforce key lessons that students will remember long after the show ends.
Every performance is interactive, motivational, and age-flexible, adapting easily to preschool, elementary, or family audiences. Whether you’re planning a school assembly, summer reading kickoff, or family night, Greg’s shows deliver a message that motivates, unites, and makes learning fun.
